Join me for a wildlife and nature photography walk at one of my favorite places on the central coast. My name is Adi Ringer, and I have been coming here for years. Oso Flaco Lake offers a diversity of birds and waterfowl, and walking through the dunes out to the ocean makes for a beautiful hike with breathtaking views.
For Photographers of all Levels:
During this walk, I’ll be sharing photography tips and tricks, especially for wildlife. I’ll also answer any questions about taking pictures or gear, or I’ll point you in the right direction if it’s out of my scope of knowledge (I’m a Nikon user).
Recommended Gear:
Any camera will do, however, if you want to focus on wild-life or landscapes , these setups will give you great results:
Wildlife: A long lens or highest zoom lens you have . I use a 500 mm prime on a 1.5 crop sensor .
Landscape: Wide angle lens. I use a 16-24 or 24-70 zoom lens on a full frame body.
Tripod, comfortable clothes you can get dirty, comfortable shoes and water.
FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS OF ALL LEVELS, please register
