At the Dunes Center we truly see the value in being a part of a community. The goal of our membership program is to engage interested people and organizations in our programs but to also provide them with an opportunity to participate actively in local community service projects, special events, and unique educational offerings.
Our volunteer program at the Dunes Center is crucial to our ability to fulfill our mission. Volunteers implement our education programs, operate our Visitor Center, and provide support to staff. We have a wide variety of volunteer opportunities, tailored for people of all ages, skill levels, and backgrounds. The Dunes Center is also a certified organization for the Presidential Service Award.
The Dunes Center Internship Program offers interns an opportunity to learn job skills, engage with our program participants, develop lesson plans, and to have a rich, rewarding experience they can benefit from.
The Dunes Center would like to thank the following organizations for supporting our programs both financially and through collaborative partnerships. The Dunes Center provides education opportunities to thousands of students last year and without the support of these organizations we could not provide this valuable resource to the local community.
