Several weeks ago, the Santa Maria Times featured a story about our creative writing program, courtesy of the Fund for Santa Barbara.  Santa Maria Valley elementary school children are currently participating in our creative writing program in which they develop an appreciation for nature and write stories and poems about the world around them.  The Dunes Center has a $25 gift certificate up for grabs to any student who submits a winning title suggestion for the book in which the childrens' stories are published, courtesy of the Toy Zoo in Santa Maria.  Read more at http://goo.gl/qPf3jM
