Description: Sea Rocket is a smooth, fleshy annual, growing either flat or upright on the sand. The leaves are shiny, green, tinted with purple or magenta, and long-lobed. It has white to light purple flowers with 4 petals in the shape of a cross and 6 stamens, 2 short and 4 long. It is found very close to the high tide line and extends inland. It was introduced from Europe.
