Description: This species of Horkelia is a rare native perennial that grows in Southern and Central California, primarily along the coast. The plant is generally hairier than other subspecies. The leaves are compound in a shape in the shape of a feather with 5-12 leaflets per side. The flowers are white and sometimes in clusters. This subspecies is endangered.
