The Dunes Collaborative meets on the second Thursday of each month from 9am-12pm.
The Dunes Collaborative —Partners in Stewardship
The Dunes Collaborative is a partnership of federal, state, private, and non-profit organizations. Working with scientists, the general public and businesses, it is committed to restoration of coastal dune habitats, recovery of threatened and endangered species, and providing quality visitor experiences to this unique and fragile ecosystem. The Dunes Collaborative works to obtain and allocate funds to enhance these efforts. Identified priority projects include: controlling the spread of non-invasive species, recovering rare plant populations, improving and protecting sensitive habitats and listed species, and enhancing visitor experiences through education, interpretation, and visitor services in the dunes. To find out more about the conservation work being done by the Dunes Collaborative, check out the Dunes Collaborative website or contact the Dunes Center at admin@dunescenter.org.
