Classroom Visits to the Dunes Center

Approximate Length: 30 minutes to 1 hour
Grades: Preschool - 5th grade
Cost: Pricing Varies (up to 35 people) Classroom must have two chaperones per class.

In addition to discovering all that our Visitor's Center has to offer, our educators also provide a short video about the dunes, a break out session in small groups to explore the garden and our newest addition - the Snowy plover trailer - courtesy of the Santa Barbara County Parks Department.

We can also design a program for your classroom or small group. If you know what your interest is, we can create an interactive one hour program for you. Current topics include; weather, bats, habitats, and tracking. All visits include a hands on activity. Some topics also include a take home craft.
